NOTICE OF MARCH BOARD OF REVIEW
The City of Ludington March Board of Review for 2023 will be held at the City Hall located at 400 S Harrison St on the following dates to hear all questions you may have on your property valuations by appointment in person or by written appeals. Call the office at 843-2956 during regular office hours to make an appointment. To accommodate those who do not wish to meet in person the City will accept written appeals.
Tuesday, March 7, 2022 at 9 a.m. Organizational Meeting. No public appeals will be accepted or acted on at this organizational meeting.
Monday, March 13th, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appeal Hearing.
Tuesday, March 14th, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Appeal Hearing.
THE TAXABLE VALUE OF CITY PROPERTIES WILL INCREASE BY APPROXIMATELY: 5.0% CAPPED
TENTATIVE EQUALIZATION FACTOR OF 1.0000 FOR ALL CLASSES OF PROPERTY IS EXPECTED AFTER COMPLETION OF BOARD OF REVIEW
By City resolution, taxpayers are able to protests by letter (including email), sent to the City of Ludington, Assessing Department, 400 S Harrison Street, Ludington, MI 49431 or by email to khaldeman@ci.ludington.mi.us Please contact the Assessing Department with questions on any business that may come before the Board of Review or if you need help filing Form L-4035, delivering additional information to the Board of Review, or have a disability that requires further consideration.
Letters of appeal must be received on or before March 14, 2023.
All meetings of the Board of Review are open to the public.

According to the City Charter, only "electors" registered in the City can serve. Each member serves at the pleasure of the City Mayor for a term of 1 year.
Appealing an Assessment
You may make an appointment with the Assessing Office to meet with the Board of Review whenever they are in session. Appointments are in 15 minute segments. Please bring all of your documentation and records with you. The Assessing Office will provide you with a copy of your Property Record Card, should you desire to have one.
