Refuse / Recyclables Service

The City of Ludington, through Republic Services, provides curbside refuse/recycling pickup each week. You are limited to three 33-gallon bags/containers each week, along with your recycling. (Please check the links below for more information.) Your refuse must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. of your regularly scheduled pick-up day.

  • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day - Third Saturday in August annually, 9:00am-2:00pm. Refuse collection will be delayed 1 working day due to the following holidays:
  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
