Exterior Structure
Every structure shall be maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary so as not to pose a threat to public health, safety or welfare.

Garage Sales
No more than a total of 3 garage sales, yard sales or similar sales per lot in any calendar year are permitted and not more than a total of 3 of such sales in combination in any calendar year.

Grass / Weeds
Read particular code enforcement rules related to the topic of grass and weeds.

Inoperable Vehicles
Dismantled or inoperative motor vehicles shall not be permitted in the right of way of streets, alleys or highways within the city.

Junk / Exterior Property
An owner or occupant shall keep the exterior property in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.

Open Burning
Open burning shall be allowed without prior notification to the code official for recreational fires, highway safety flares, smudge pots and similar occupational needs.

Smoke Detectors
Landlords are required to install and maintain smoke detectors in rental properties in accordance with the Ludington City Code.

Street Numbers
Addresses must be displayed in a position easily observed and readable from the public right of way.
