2023 Leaf Collection Information for Residents:
๐ Leaf Crews will begin picking up leaves curbside late October/early November (exact date is dependent on weather conditions and amount of leaf fall).
๐ The leaf corral will be open on Saturdays beginning in November – exact dates and times will be confirmed and posted closer to the opening date.
๐ In the meantime residents can dispose of leaves through the weekly curbside yard waste program by bagging leaves in Republic yard bags (available for $2.00 at City Hall) or using their seasonal yard cart if applicable.
๐ Please do not pile leaves in alleyways at any time of year – DPW crews do not pick up leaves in the alleys.
๐ Please do not pile leaves at the curb until the last week of October. Leaves piled into the road prior to the last week of October will be subject to city removal, at the property owner’s cost.
๐ When leaf collection begins, at the end of October, DPW crews will make their way systematically through the City continuously picking up leaf piles. There is no need to contact the City for leaf pick up – DPW crews will be on their way!
