Public Hearing - OPRA District - 215 S James Street - June 12, 2023



(Under Act 146, Public Acts of Michigan of 2000)

       PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Ludington will hold a hearing on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., at the Municipal Building, 400 S. Harrison St., Ludington, Michigan, for the purpose of hearing all interested persons concerning the application of establishing an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation District for Visscher Enterprise LLC under the provisions of Act 146 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 2000, as amended, (Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act – O.P.R.A.):

       This application of Visscher Enterprise LLC covers the establishment of an O.P.R.A. District at their location, 215 S James Street, Ludington, MI 49431.

       The applicant, the City Assessor, and a representative of each taxing unit which levies ad valorem taxes in the City of Ludington, as well as the general public, may appear at this hearing and give testimony.

        The application of Visscher Enterprise LLC is on file and available for review in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Ludington.

       The City of Ludington will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the hearing upon seven days notice to the City of Ludington.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the City Clerk by writing or calling the following:
