NOTICE OF MARCH 2021
BOARD OF REVIEW
The City of Ludington 2021 March Board of Review will be held by electronic remote access, unless by the dates of the March Board of Review meetings it becomes lawful under state agency rules for an indoor in-person public meeting to be held. Electronic remote access, in accordance with Michigan law, will be implemented in response to COVID-19 social distancing requirements and limitations on the number of individuals in an indoor public gathering. The meeting is open to the public and this notice is provided under the Open Meetings Act 267 of 1976 as amended at MCL 15.263a for electronic public meetings.
If in-person public meetings become a lawful option, then the meeting will be held both in person at the Ludington City Hall, 400 S Harrison St, and via electronic remote access.

The City of Ludington March Board of Review will meet on the following dates:
Tuesday, March 2, 2020 at 9 a.m. Organizational Meeting. No public appeals will be accepted or acted on at this organizational meeting.
Monday, March 8th, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appeal Hearing.
Tuesday, March 9th, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Appeal Hearing.
THE TAXABLE VALUE OF CITY PROPERTIES WILL INCREASE BY APPROXIMATELY: 1.4%
TENTATIVE EQUALIZATION FACTOR OF 1.0000 FOR ALL CLASSES OF PROPERTY IS EXPECTED AFTER COMPLETION OF BOARD OF REVIEW
By City resolution, taxpayers are able to protest by letter (including email), sent to City of Ludington, Carol Ann Foote, 400 S Harrison St, Ludington, Mi 49431 or by email to email@example.com Contact the assessor’s office with questions on any business that may come before the Board of Review or if you need help filing Form L-4035, delivering additional information to the Board of Review, or have a disability that requires further consideration.
Letters of appeal must be received on or before March 9th.
