The City of Ludington will conduct a public hearing on February 10, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 400 S Harrison St, Ludington, Mi for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant for funding for the N James Street/Legacy Plaza. The City of Ludington proposes to use $2,123,190 CDBG funds to renovate and construct a gathering place in Downtown Ludington in the 100 block of N James Street. This gathering place will encompass a new farmers market pavilion, upgrades to utilities, a new bathroom and storage structure, concrete work, a community firepit and landscaping elements under the HUD category of Area Wide Benefit of Low/Moderate Income Communities. $235,910 in local funding will also be used. No person will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities.
