There will be a discount of 10% for Monthly stays (30 consecutive nights) and a weekly rate of $180.00 for 6 consecutive nights on a 30 amp Full Hookup and $192.00 for 6 consecutive nights on 50 amp Full Hookup sites, Pre 4th of July and Post Labor Day
RESERVATIONS:
A one night, non-refundable deposit required to hold reservation.
Holiday weekends require full payment at the time of reservation.
REFUNDS:
There are no refunds given for any reason.
General reservations accepted beginning on February 1 for the current camping season.
Reservations recommended, but not required.
2023 Cartier Park Campground Rules
Cartier Park Campground is owned and operated by the City of Ludington and therefore under the jurisdiction of city ordinances. By City ordinance, abuse of these rules may lead to eviction, prosecution, or other recourse as allowed by law. NO REFUNDS are given for any reason except termination of a seasonal rental by the Cartier Park Campground. As listed Below.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Check-in is 2:00pm or after. Check-out is at 11:00am. Prior approval from the park manager is required to check-in early, check-out late or move from one campsite to another. Additional fees may apply for these situations.
OCCUPANCY: Full hook-up, water & electric, and rustic sites are subject to the rule of three objects per site. Electric only sites are subject to the rule of two objects per site, no exceptions. The rule of three could include two tents and one car, OR one tent, one RV, and one car, OR one car, one RV and one boat. No more than six people per campsite or immediate household members including parents and children under the age of 18. Additional vehicles, sleeping facilities, or campers identified on campsites will be asked to rent a second site.
GUESTS: Guests are welcome however if you have too many objects on your site you will need to have them park in one of the overflow spots.
Destruction of Property: If you or your Car, RV or any other trailer run into anything such as Water post, Sewer post or if your camper starts our pedestal on fire you will be subject to fees to cover the Damage.
RV/MOTORHOME/CAMPER/POP-UP: Parallel parking only! Widest part of your camper must be at least three feet from the lot line to ensure a total of six feet of separation between campers on adjacent lots. Use of one electrical outlet, one water hook-up, and one sewer hook-up is included with lot rental. Use of additional outlets is not permitted.
TENTS: Tent(s) and equipment must be contained within your campsite. Tents or equipment on other campsite areas will be asked to move, OR, if the campsite is not reserved, camper may be allowed to pay for the additional site. A shared water source is available in locations throughout the tent and electrical campsite areas. Please collect water to take to your site for dishwashing, dishwater may be disposed of at the campsite. All garbage waster shall be disposed of in the garbage cans or dumpsters provided, located by the Bath houses.
NOISE: Quiet hours are 10:00pm until 7:30am. Noise levels must be controlled at all times and should not be audible beyond 10 feet of your campsite.
Campsite property: We are a city park, we ask that people mind their own space but unfortunately we are a city park and people are ALLOWED to walk through. If you have any issues please contact the office so they can take care of it. DO not confront people or guests if you cannot do so respectfully. You are not allowed to alter your campsite without Permission from the Cartier Park Manager or the City officials. This includes digging, trenching, cutting, or parking your camper in a non-normal fashion ext.
PETS: Pets are allowed in the park, but must be under the direct supervision of an adult at ALL TIMES. They must be kept on a leash not exceeding six feet in length and all pet waste must be cleaned up, bagged, and disposed of in the waste receptacles immediately by owners. Pets are not allowed inside of buildings, including the bathrooms. Aggressive animals are NOT ALLOWED for the safety of the other campers and their pets.
CHILDREN: Children must be under the direct supervision of a parent or responsible adult over 18 years of age at all times. Children playing should be restricted to their own campsites or the playground area. Play in or near the street, water, or other campsites and cars are dangerous and could cause injury to both the child and other camper’s property. Parents will be held responsible for injury and damage caused by their children.
GARBAGE: Garbage and animal waste should be bagged and disposed of in waste receptacles. Campsites should remain clean throughout your stay. It is your responsibility to remove all materials from your site upon your leaving the campground. Don’t forget: Trash attracts wildlife!
FISH CLEANING is not allowed in the park for any reason! Fish cleaning stations are available at the Loomis Street Boat Ramp or Copeyon Park.
FIREWORKS, FIREARMS: Fireworks and Firearms are STRICKLY FORBIDDEN! Violators will be immediately evicted.
FIRES and FIREWOOD: Firewood is available for purchase at the campground office. No firewood may be brought in to the campground due to the Emerald Ash Borer infestation. Trenching, foraging wood, or cutting down trees in the park or on the walking trail is prohibited. A fire ring is provided on each campsite. All fires must be completely contained and extinguished prior to leaving the campsite.
ALCOHOL: Possession or consumption of alcohol is NOT allowed, as per City Ordinance, on GUS MACKER weekend from noon on June 16th to noon on June 18th, Fourth of July from noon July3rd to noon July 5th, and noon Sept 2nd to noon Sept 5th of LABOR DAY. Violators will be evicted. Responsible use of alcohol is permitted outside of the aforementioned weekends. Intoxication, drunken or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated at any time. Use of any controlled substance, marijuana within the campground will result in eviction.
Termination: by Cartier Park Campground. Cartier Park Campground shall have the right to terminate Seasonal Contracts without cause by giving notice in writing to the renter 72 Hours prior to such termination: provided, that the renter shall be entitled to a prorate refund of the rest of the seasonal rental fee, if any, paid in advance; and further, that no refund shall be made if termination of this permit is due to renter violating any of the terms and conditions of this permit or the rules and regulations incorporated herein or such other reasonable rules and regulations as Cartier Park Campground may publish, post and or distribute from time to time.
Eviction: Anyone whom has been warned or is violating city or park rules may be evicted immediately. If Customer doesn’t want to go or there is a problem, we are a city park and the city Police officers will come and take care of the problem. With NO REFUND
Commercial Operations: No campers shall be permitted to operate a business hobby or other enterprise intended to draw customers or to offer for sale any goods or services from a location within the campground without the prior expressed permission of the Ludington City Council
TRAFFIC: Traffic within the campground shall not exceed the speed limits as posted. 5MPH
OFFICE: The campground office will have posted hours for peak season (Memorial Day-Labor Day) and off season (May and September). Please call for more details.
Generators: Absolutely no Generators are to be used in our Park. If found using one you will have to leave our park with no refund. Thank You

Ludington's comfort index of 50 based on humidity during the summer season is higher than the national average of 44.
