MUNICIPAL MARINA NEWS

From the Manager's Corner
On behalf of the City of Ludington and the staff at the Ludington Municipal Marina, I would like to welcome you to the marina web site!

We feel that the Ludington Municipal Marina is the finest public marina on the Great Lakes. Its close proximity to Lake Michigan, nearby shopping, unsurpassed fishing and the beautiful sandy beaches make this marina a unique destination.

We're looking forward to a successful season in 2010!

Please continue to browse the website!  Better yet, come visit us this year at the Ludington Municipal Marina.  As many of you know, we do take reservations.  For those of you who are new to the reservation process, please click on FAQ's for reservation information, or call us at (231) 843-9611.

What's New!!
We are happy to report that our new Transient/Day dock is complete. The new space is a 900' seawall that extends from the far west end of the marina all the way to the east end, on the north side of our basin. Complete with 30 amp and 50 amp electrical service, water, and cable television on site.  The new space is available for day dockage use ($5) and also transient use.  The dockage will be broadside to the seawall. Please call our dock office for more info 231-843-9611.

This season, boaters will continue to be welcomed in the day room building in the morning for hot coffee.  We will fix the first pot to "perk" you up in the morning.  After that, boaters are welcome to make more, if they would like.

The Ludington Municipal Marina, as well as the crews from Raggy Anne, Priority, French Quarter, and others, have been supplying the necessary items to provide a welcome, wake-up treat.  It certainly is appreciated by everyone and a big "thanks" to all who keep helping out.

Just a reminder, we have merchandise for sale at the gas dock such as, stainless steel Ludington Municipal Marina coffee mugs, ceramic mugs, sweat shirts, hats, and Ludington Municipal Marina burgees are also for sale at the gas dock.
 

Internet Service & Phones
Inside the dayroom, we have free telephone service for local and 1-800 calls.  We are also pleased to offer our boaters high speed wireless Internet access.
