As the City of Ludington implements its Master Plan, the City wants to hear what is foremost on citizens’ minds. The Ludington City Council will be hosting a Community Listening Session to hear issues that are most pressing or most immediately impacting the community.
The City of Ludington’s Master Plan, which was approved in 2016, established long-term goals with the help of the community. Notwithstanding this, the City Council wants to hear about the opportunities and issues that are uppermost in citizens’ minds. City Council’s goal of this session is to have a better sense of where the community would like the City to focus its efforts in the near term as well as three and five years out.
The City Council desires to increase community engagement through respectful and engaging dialogue with the citizens in an effort to proactively identify and address important issues. The City Council wants to encourage broad community involvement.
This public meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the new Lakeshore Resource Network building located at 920 East Tinkham Avenue.
