Police Officer


The City of Ludington, Michigan is creating an eligibility list for (full-time) police officer. 

Qualifications include at a minimum: Associate’s Degree, at least 21 years old, current driver’s license, a clean criminal record, and successful completion of Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) basic police officer certification program

A competitive wage and benefit package is offered.

You must complete the profile and test by March 1st, 2017.

Part-time / Seasonal Ludington Police Officer

The City of Ludington, Michigan is creating an eligibility list for Part-Time police officer. Qualifications include at a minimum: Associate’s Degree, at least 21 years old, current driver’s license, a clean criminal record, and successful completion of Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) basic police officer certification program before hiring.

Beach Patrol (Seasonal)


The City of Ludington, Michigan is seeking applicants for the part time, seasonal position of Beach Patrol. Applicants must be 18 years or older, possess a valid Michigan driver’s license, no felony convictions and able to pass a physical exam and drug screen. Preference will be given to applicants currently certified in CPR and First Aid.

Rate of pay is $10/hour for up to 40 hours per week. Interested individuals may apply at the Ludington Police Department located at:
